Photo timed at 16:26. I had probably forgotten to reset the camera to British Summer Time, so “old time” would have been 14:26. The steep angle of the gnomon shadow indicates the sun is still high in the sky – but 2 pm? Maybe the dial is running slow. (I’m not sure if this is the “Greek” sundial that used to be by the priest’s door, mentioned in some sources.)
