

The births of George and Tom Edward were registered in Bridlington but their father, a policeman, was transferred to Filey soon afterwards and the boys were baptised at St Oswald’s. The young men married in Driffield – George took Kate Annie WILSON for his wife in 1910 and Lucy Jessamine STAGG became Mrs DUKE in 1911. Tom and Lucy raised their family in Driffield but George and Kate were enumerated in Bridlington in 1939.
