A middleweight contest between the United Kingdom regime and the Russian Federation government:-
In the Blue corner, Novichok.
In the Red corner, BZ.
The probable winner of this bout will be Novichok, on points, because the referee and judges are in fear of their lives.
I refuse to give the BBC money but caught the exchange between one of their charmless interviewers, Stephen Sackur, and Sergey Lavrov on YuoTube. This is worth watching for tips on how to be an ignorant arsehole, and how to deal with an ignorant arsehole in a dignified, sympathetic manner. The Russian Foreign Minister briefly mentioned BZ but Sackur had clearly been warned to dodge this bullet and move quickly on.
BZ is a problem the UK regime has to deal with and they have begun their disinformation campaign today. The existence of this highly likely (to have poisoned the Skripals) substance is totally ignored. Instead, they are telling the British Public, because they think people are stupid, that the Novichok was delivered in a liquid form. It did not kill the Skripal’s because it was raining that day, but the Novichok is still in Salisbury, in the double agent’s house, and in Salisbury town centre. Over the next few months, there is going to be a very costly cleanup operation at nine sites around the town. There is no danger to Salisbury residents from what is left of the very tiny amount of Novichok that failed to kill the Skripals, even though it was in a very pure form when samples were delivered to the OPCW. Hang on a minute, I thought it was raining…
Experts in nerve agents were disbelieving when they first heard the regime’s story. I imagine they will love another opportunity to debunk it and then ask, “Hey, what about BZ?”
A heavyweight contest between a Christian democracy and a fascistic alliance of evil buggers.
In the Lies corner, an Assad attack against his own people.
In the Fairy Story corner, a film by the White Helmets.
The winner is going to be the fairy story. The members of the OPCW, who are in Douma now to begin their investigation, will be unwilling to issue a true report when it could get them killed. (America’s Top Maniac, John Bolton, encouraged a previous director of the OPCW to resign by telling him, “we know where your kids are”.)
It will be regrettable if the Russian Federation assertion that the gas attack was a fabrication is not verified but the situation the world now finds itself in will not materially change. Indeed, it will probably prove to be a positive result for all who wish to speak truth to corrupt power and naked aggression. When the masks of the deranged slip, people realize, perhaps for the first time, what monsters look like. Flight isn’t an option. Fight is.
The BBC’s Phobia inducing Thought for the Day this morning was – the Russians are hacking everybody’s computers. This had a short shelf life; I haven’t heard it repeated since lunchtime. I wonder what the regime’s Propaganda Division will regale us with tomorrow. When will they tell us about Israel firing missiles into Syria?
Finally today, A Public Statement from The Vets Salisbury (not dated)
As you’ve probably heard in the public domain, Mr Skripal is one of our clients. Today, the government has revealed two guinea pigs belonging to Mr Skripal died and his cat was put down after the unfortunate nerve agent attack on Mr Skripal.
We contacted the police straightaway upon hearing the news that Mr Skripal had been admitted to hospital, and a number of times afterwards, to make them aware of Mr Skripal’s pets and their needs.
We contacted Porton Down – in case the animals may have been taken into isolation. We also offered to take care of Mr Skripal’s pets in his absence. We were never contacted by the police or Porton Down in return regarding Mr Skripal’s pets.
